buildsbyphil is an independent web development service based in Malta, offering custom website builds and ongoing care plans to growing businesses.
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
When you submit the proposal form on this site, we collect the details you provide: your full name, business name, email address, phone number, and anything you write in the project details field.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
We use your details solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and — if you become a client — to deliver and maintain your website.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent (given when you submit the form) and, for clients, the performance of a contract.
Form submissions are stored securely in our hosted database, protected by access controls. We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request, and client data for the duration of our working relationship plus any period required by law.
The website itself is served over HTTPS with SSL encryption.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details on the contact section of this site and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) in Malta.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
